LEI and the Centre for Biowaste Research (CIBR) have developed a Community Engagement Framework for biowastes. The framework includes practical steps for community engagement and consultation, and regulatory requirements.

Achieving Excellence in Onsite Wastewater workshop

The NZ Land Treatment Collective hosted an onsite wastewater workshop on 15 March 2016, prior to the conference in Gisborne. The focus of the workshop was to discuss progress being made in advancing onsite wastewater management issues in New Zealand.
